Privacy policy
What personal data this website collects, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Who we are
This website, presented under the HOF Partners name, is operated by RED BERRY CONSULTANCY LLC ("we", "us"), an accounting firm with its office at 1408, 14th Floor, Opal Tower, Burj Khalifa Street, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
You can contact us about this policy or your personal data at info@hof-partners.com or on +971 54 542 4854.
This policy applies to personal data collected through this website. Accounting, tax and other records we handle for clients under an engagement are governed by the relevant engagement letter and its terms, not by this policy.
2. The laws we follow
We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to our processing of your data, for example because you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom when you contact us, we also comply with those rules as described in the section on visitors from the EU and UK.
3. Personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to send us through the contact form. When you submit it we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- the subject and message you write, including any personal data you include in it;
- the language version of the website you used (English or Arabic).
If you email or call us directly, we receive your contact details and whatever you tell us in that email or call.
Like any website, the servers of our hosting and content-delivery provider receive technical information needed to deliver pages to your device, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in short-lived security and operational logs.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as health information or identity documents) through the contact form. If an engagement requires documents, discuss the appropriate exchange method with us first.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page visits and loading performance. Neither tool sets cookies or uses advertising pixels. Web Analytics counts visitors using a hash of the incoming request that resets every 24 hours, so visitors cannot be followed across days or other websites; we see only aggregated statistics such as pages visited, referrers, country, browser, operating system and device type. Speed Insights records anonymous loading-performance measurements with the page, browser, device type, network speed and country. The website itself does not set its own cookies.
Our contact page offers an embedded Google map. It loads only after you choose to load it; visiting the page alone does not send a request to Google. If you load the map, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies or similar technologies under Google's privacy policy. We do not control or receive that data. You can leave the map unloaded and read our address in the page text instead.
If we add other analytics tools or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. Why we use your data and our lawful basis
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to discuss or prepare a quotation for our services. Basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
- To keep a record of the enquiry and our reply so we can follow up and answer later questions. Basis: our legitimate interest in running our business.
- To keep the website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and visitors.
- To comply with legal obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them.
6. Who receives your data
Your enquiry is read by our team. We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Resend, an email delivery provider based in the United States, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox;
- our email and office software providers, which store the messages we receive;
- Vercel, our hosting and content-delivery provider based in the United States, which serves this website and provides the Web Analytics and Speed Insights measurements described above.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to a court or a competent authority, or to our professional advisers where needed to protect our legal rights.
7. Transfers outside the UAE
Resend, the provider that delivers contact form submissions to our inbox, is based in the United States. Personal data transferred outside the UAE must meet the applicable PDPL requirements. Depending on the destination and circumstances, these may require contractual or other legally recognised safeguards. Contact info@hof-partners.com to ask which safeguards apply to your enquiry.
8. How long we keep your data
We retain enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and handle related follow-up. If an enquiry leads to an engagement, the related correspondence is governed by the engagement letter and applicable legal retention requirements.
You can request deletion of your enquiry by emailing info@hof-partners.com. Applicable legal obligations may require some information to be retained.
9. Contact form security
Contact form submissions are validated on our server before being delivered by email through Resend. Validation does not make email suitable for sensitive documents, and no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please avoid including sensitive personal data in your message.
10. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the PDPL, you have the right to:
- obtain information about the personal data we hold about you and access a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data;
- ask us to restrict how we process your data;
- object to our processing of your data, including for direct marketing;
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and have it transferred to another controller where technically possible;
- withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent;
- complain to the UAE Data Office if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@hof-partners.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time limits set by the applicable law.
11. Visitors from the EU and UK
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data, you have the rights listed above as provided by those laws, and our lawful bases are those set out in the section on why we use your data. You may also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work or where an alleged infringement took place; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, a transfer to a country without an applicable adequacy decision requires an appropriate safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism. Safeguards may include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for UK transfers, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Agreement. This policy does not confirm that a particular contractual arrangement has been executed. Contact info@hof-partners.com to ask about the transfer mechanism and safeguards applicable to your enquiry.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make significant changes, we will make them clear on this page.
14. Contact us
