The terms that apply when you browse or use this website. Please read them before relying on anything you find here.

1. About these terms

This website, presented under the HOF Partners name, is operated by RED BERRY CONSULTANCY LLC, an accounting firm with its office at 1408, 14th Floor, Opal Tower, Burj Khalifa Street, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data you send us through the website and forms part of these terms.

2. Information only, not professional advice

The content on this website, including articles, guides, checklists and service descriptions, is general information. It is not accounting, tax, legal or other professional advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account.

Tax rules, rates, thresholds and deadlines change, and they differ between countries and between businesses. Content is accurate to the best of our knowledge on the date it was written or last updated, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for your situation. Before acting on anything you read here, take advice on your own facts from a qualified adviser.

3. No adviser-client relationship

Using this website, sending us a message through the contact form, or emailing or calling us does not create an adviser-client relationship. A relationship begins only when we and you have both signed an engagement letter that sets out the scope of our services, fees and terms.

Until then, please do not send us confidential documents or information you would not want us to hold. Any reply we give to an initial enquiry is a general response and not advice you should rely on.

4. Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, logos and the "HOF Partners" name, are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view, print or share links to pages for your own information or for internal use in your business. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or create derivative works from substantial parts of the website without our written permission, and you may not remove any copyright or other notices.

5. Acceptable use

When using the website you must not:

  • use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • submit false, misleading, abusive or unsolicited promotional messages through the contact form;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system, or interfere with its operation, for example by introducing malware or overloading it;
  • use automated tools to scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the website at scale without our permission;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your connection with any person or business.

We may restrict or block access to the website, or ignore messages, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

The website links to and embeds content from other websites, such as government and tax authority portals, software providers and Google Maps. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

7. Availability of the website

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors or viruses.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, or from your inability to use it. This includes loss of profit, revenue, data, business or goodwill, and any tax, penalty or interest arising from decisions made on the basis of website content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Our liability for services we provide under an engagement is governed by the engagement letter, not by these terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them or your use of the website, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.

If these terms are available in more than one language and there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they were last changed. The version published when you use the website applies to that use.
